Shirlee, Brenda Paternoster's book "Threads for Lace 2" will answer ALL your thread questions. I'm sure someone will tell you who to get it from in the States - and it's not too expensive. Brenda also does updates whenever she finds a new thread and these are posted on her website. If you have any thread that's not in the book, send her a little and it will be assessed and added to the list.
