Hi everyone For what it's worth, I looked up the colour codes used in the Idrija Lace book by Bridget Cook and Metka Tratnik. same code as Tamara described except 'mauve' instead of 'purple' red: TC TC mauve: CTC green: TC blue: A series of TC's made with 2 pairs (= plait) yellow: A single thread (in the book, most often used for a picot, but also to indicate adding a pair (= two single threads)
To distinguish the red and the mauve, the red ink is closer to orange.
