Hi All, To keep this lacy I'll start by saying that I'm still working on my
NL. I designed a holly leaf/berries pin to give my Mom. It's looking okay
but I also have an Irish Crochet holly leaf/berries pattern (from a doily)
and I think I'll stick with that if I want to make more in the future. In
NL it's a little too time consuming for my taste. I'd rather be doing more
flowers or scrolls or something.

I do have one question about the final cordonette. This pattern has veins
that will be covered and then the outside of the leaf will be done. It
seems that on the veins I probably want to stop the cordonette just short of
the edge (just before the edge cordonet) so that I don't have lumps when I
buttonhole around the edge. Is that right?

I have been wearing my orchid pink/medium light green NL flower on a bright
green sweater. Since it got cold I have been wearing my Light Raspberry
turtleneck from Land's End under the sweater. The turtleneck is the same
color as the DMC Special Dentelles size 80 color #3608! I couldn't have
matched that if I'd tried! So if any US arachnes want to look very
coordinated that's one way <G>. I'm just a happy customer of Land's End.

Jane in Vermont, USA who's happy to be using color inside since it's mostly
grey, brown and black outside.
