A pair of items again purporting to be lacemaking bobbins. What arethey?
The best I could come up with was an idea that they might be used for twisting cords. Did you notice that one of the metal plates has 5 holes and the other has 4? Maybe for 10-strand or 8-strand cords?
But I'm just guessing.
