Yesterday's e-mail carried an exceptionally rude message, challenging the
sanity of anyone thinking about putting a new line of lace-designed
T-shirts out on our limited market.
Um... I thought what that particular spider intended to say was that, taking on such a project, without any business experience (which I don't have) meant that, if I weren't crazy already, I'd *surely* be raving after... IOW, she was looking after my future well-being <g> I really didn't mind; she and I "go back" quite a bit and get along well, what with both of us being somewhat nutty in flavour :) A reality check never hurt anyone, certainly not me, and better now than later.
So, er... I know it'll sound really silly coming from me of all people, but let us all get back to the spirit of goodwill, suitable to the season :) This time of year is always difficult, because of the pressure of getting so much done in time and "just so"; as a result we're all a bit "frazzled". It's easy to either express oneself imprecisely or to misread some such message. I wasn't flamed, certainly not intentionally, so my feelings weren't hurt.

Yours, frazzled. The last ornament is finished (tick). The ordered gifts are beginning to arrive (as, hopefully, are those sent from here. Tick). The Augias' stables (aka dining room) is beginning to show some empty spots, but not yet enough to put the tree in there. Where on earth am I going to put all my pillows, all my drafting materials etc? (quarter tick). Milk for cheese for the Viennese cheesecake will be started tomorrow (half tick). Most food supplies for the 7-day visit of my son and his girlfriend are laid in and I have a list (checking it twice <g>) of what I'll be cooking and baking (all childhood favourites). Half tick? Tick tock...
