Yes, I think it was the panel that went to Winston Churchill that was later found in the bottom of a wardrobe belonging to a family member. It is a rather humorous thing to think about the dilemna of having a forebearer such as Winston Churchill who must have received plaques and commemoratives by the truck load which one feels uncomfortable throwing away, but which are hard to store. Mr. Mason thinks he heard when he was a teenager that one of the panels was sent to the US, probably to the president. Since the panels were produced after the war, it may have been Truman rather than Roosevelt who received it. In any case I have never heard of there being such a panel in the US, so it is a mystery what has happened to it. I would certainly be interested to know if anyone ever runs across it.
