Yes! Some years ago, an old friend kindly sent me some bobbins as a present. Although we're very old friends, we live a long way apart and rarely see each other in person. My friend had only seen my lace pillow once, quite briefly, and I think the craftsman who made the bobbins was in the same position as the woodturner above. Mine look more like lace bobbins than the ebay ones, but are much too big - perhaps he was working from a picture? They've gone into my collection of curios, until I think of a use for them.
