I'm looking at a couple of books on Russian tape lace and wonder if anyone that has them thinks they offer enough instruction for a newer lace maker. I ususally borrow books from IOLI so I can see if they are something I can work my way through before I buy them, but they don't have these. They are "Russian Lace Patterns #1 by T.& K. Karpenko. I saw on the "Lace Express" page that there is an angel in it that looks like a cupid. This would be great for Valentines Day. The other book is "Angels in Russian Tape Lace" by Hanne Sonne.
