Although I have not received my Bulletin yet, I went to the Keystone site and
would like to point out three things that they are doing that I hope will be
picked up by future conventions.
1. They are taking credit cards
2. They are counting all registrations received before March 1 as having
arrived on March 1, so it will not be necessary to arrange for your registration
to be mailed on one specific day. I never understood this practice which
created a lot of problems if you were, for instance, on vacation on the day that was
the first day that something could be postmarked. Also, anyone that you are
trying to induce to go to the convention who is a neophyte looks at the
registration materials and invariably reads that as meaning that the registration
deadline is March 1.
3. They have written very good descriptions of the skills that will be taught
in the class, at least on the internet descriptions.
