In the newspaper they whrite about the sale that the Prince said while
laughing, that perhaps the sale will allow him to change the curtains of his
castle and he added that there are many curtains and some are enormous (you
can see his castle on : http://www.beloeil.be/page4.html  or
http://www.parcs-jardins.be/beloeil/historique.html ).  He also said that he
is not interested in earning money, it's just to make place in his attic to
put items of clothing from the following generations.  The money the sale
will bring will be used for the preservation of the castle.
The 283 items were principaly sold to museums in Belgium, France, Spain,
Brazil, Chili, ... for the total amount of 405 000 euros (the item 74 is
been sold for 34 500 euros to a french museum !)
