I think it's time to close the burned house thread on Arachne. We've heard
from both
Hannah and Tamara, on both lists, and all that we're likely to get now is
the Greek chorus
effect ("She said..., she said..., then she said...."). This will not
accomplish anything positive and can be potentially divisive.
Continue this thread via private e-mail if you must, but it's moving far
from lace. I think you all have enough information to make up your own
minds.

I can't take credit for HTML mopping. That's a new feature that Panix.com
introduced. But, yes, AOL subscribers can now post in whatever format they
like and the server will transform the HTML formatting into plain text.
