Hello all, I know basically nothing about lace, but I'm looking to learn not only about the history and kinds of lace, but also how to make lace. Are there any really good introductory books that you can recommend? Also, does anyone know of someone in NYC who'd be willing to maybe teach lace-making (or allow me to observe)?
