I contacted the seller of this machine to tell him what the knowledgeable
people on this list said, and he's thinking of amendin his description. He's
also been contacted by someone else - don't know if it's someone on the list
as he didn't say.
The machine he's selling he actually bought from Cottees ("Lot 185. A late
19th century James Moffat, Yeovil Lovemakers sewing machine." mentioned on
this list), so I don't know why he decided it was something different,
unless, of course, he didn't connect the typo "Lovemakers" with the glove on
the makers badge.
