Gidday all,

I have a photocopy of an old article entitled "Some Old Lace-Land
Festivals", that I got from my MIL. She is also a lacemaker and had this in
her files of patterns etc. She has no idea where she got it from but had
written on it July 1967. Anyway I think the article would be great to
reproduce now in my local lace newsletter, so I would like to find the
author/publisher to ask for permission.

The author is Anne James - no idea if she was a lacemaker or just a magazine
writer. At the top of the page in tiny writing is the heading Country
Life - I assume that is either the name of the magazine, or the name of
perhaps a regular section within the magazine. The original is less than A4
in size but larger than A5.

Has anyone heard of this person or magazine ? I know that the title Country
Life is probably a common magazine title now, in fact I know of one here in
RSA, but as this is dated 1967 its probably not a current publication.

Would appreciate suggestions.....
