I had heard that the entire painting collection of the American Wing is now on the www.metmuseum.org web-site and it is in fact true. Someday when I have some time, I should add some of these paintings to the gallery, or start a new one just with American Paintings featuring lace. These paintings are of particular interest to Colonial Re-enactors. I know because I ran through the entire American Wing with one of them making notes about how much Flemish lace seemed to adorn people who were living at the time of the Revolution. Of course, anyone can make a gallery at the My Met site, just by following a few instructions. Maybe someone else would like to take on this job? Devon
