Is there such a thing as a magnetic pin pusher?
There is something you could use - I've just been experimenting to see if it works. It's used by needleworkers to thumb tack material or canvas to a frame before embroidering, etc. You can see one by going to:

and entering Corjac in the search box. However, since it is meant to push in thumb tacks, it is rather big. It certainly couldn't be used for fine laces. And when I experimented to see if it would work with pins, I found out that most of my pins are not magnetic. However, it would be better than nothing and it is a wonderful tool for those of us who do needlework.
