Hi All, I know that some of you on this list are quite scholarly, and between the collective minds here, I'm hoping someone has come across the book I'm trying to assess.
The book is "a 1981 reprint of a 1913 original called The Lace Dictionary by C. R. Clifford.". If you have any opinions as to its reliability in terms of content (and I know Mrs Palliser wasn't the most accurate in her assessments of lace), such as errors, accuracy, etc, could you please email me privately - I'm working on a project, and I need to decide about it's inclusion in a bibliography I'm working on for someone. And so I don't look completely silly, asking this question - I am asking it on behalf of someone who has the book - I've never seen the book. Thanks so much, in advance.
