Paramaribo is the capital of Suriname..........not that I've been there yet but I have seen photos. I have been informed this afternoon that we are to be out of our unit by 26th April (cos' I'm flying to Melbourne on 27th, for a month with the kids before going to Suriname!) so the next couple of weeks is already starting to be hectic and I have spent the last half an hour scanning passports, birth certificates, wedding certificate etc and have to track down a "certificate of good conduct" from the police station of a country (here) that I am not even a resident of...........not to mention packing, cleaning things out and selling a car in a hurry/closing a bank account/arranging tax papers and all the other garbage things that go along with moving to another country in 3 weeks time!
