Lacemaker's Lamp, 19th century ?  lace maker's would use this type of oil lamp as 
a light source behind their magnifying flask to make lace, pontil marks can be seen at 
bottom








 10" high, 4" dia base








  I believe there is missing  a tin lid at the top of the bowl  which 
contains an aperture for the wick, otherwise very good
