Hi Jane Yes, my website has a section about the tatted Cluny leaves, including how to make them and a beginners project to use them. http://www.sandbenders.demon.co.uk/tatting/clintro.htm I decided that it was time to learn how to do these, and my next opportunity was on a 4 hour train journey from Manchester to Cambridge. First I puzzled over the very short instructions, trying to work out what was going on. Then I made one which resembled a lumpy banana and would not close properly. Having worked out what the problem was I embarked on another one. Then, half way through the journey, the train crew changed and along came a ticket collector who wanted to look at everyone's ticket for the second time. I stared at him over the rat's nest of threads tied to my fingers, knowing that if I put this down I'd never be able to pick it up again. A moment or two of the look convinced him that he'd have to come back again later to see mine. Have fun. -- What if no one ever asked a hypothetical question?
