Tess has been working with a professor in Arizona on making old, out-of-copyright lace documents available again. He had been doing this with weaving books, and she's been getting him lace materials. These are available on the web as Adobe PDF files. In addition, they've been making CDs of the files (also in PDF format) for anybody that doesn't want to go to the web to get the files. There are some absolutely wonderful, rare items now available to us thanks to Tess and "The Professor". Lots of old books, pamphlets, magazine articles, even patent applications to do with lace. Some of them have wonderful pictures along with the text. It's a treasure trove of information that they've put together for our enjoyment. I only wish I could find the URL. I thought it was in my "favorites" file, but it's not. Someone else will have to supply that. Then you must check it out! Robin P.
