It makes sense with the 24 hour clock - I was really wondering about the 12 hour am/pm version.

So 0000 > is midnight, and 1200 is noon. People like the military use this method of telling > the time so that there is no confusion as to whether a time quoted is morning or > afternoon. 10 a.m. is 1000 hours (not 1 p.m., which is actually 1300 hours). 10 > p.m. is 2200 hours. > Does that help??
