Can't, myself... :( Sunday is my "Letohrad/Zamberk/Vamberk" day, since I've had to pass on the post-Congress tour for financial reasons. Klatove/Prachatice/Cesky Krumlov on Friday, shop-till-you drop on Saturday. I'll be staying on at the U for two days after the Congress, but it looks now that a highschool friend who lives in Salzburg will come and help me explore Prague <g>; I haven't seen her in 30 yrs!
But, what about the banquet on Saturday? Even if we can't talk the organizers into reserving a table for us, we could, perhaps, "gravitate"? If each of us wears a spider somewhere, and reserves a spot next to her for late-comers? And, we could send out "scouts" to identify the mis-seated Spiders to come and join, if they so wished (some won't)? It didn't work *perfectly* at the Tonder Festival in '03, but it worked well enough... And, maybe, we could hang around for half an hour (or so) *after* the banquet?
I know I'd love to meet "new" Arachneans and re-connect with the "old" ones (and take photos of them all for my addresbook <g>), but the whole "Prague experience" (my only shot at *an* OIDFA Congress) has had to be trimmed to the bare bones, so the whole thing's likely to be a fast-paced blur :) I still hope to make contact with some of you, during the pre-Congress class (I'll be in the "Free Hand", with Zajonc, so I know I'll meet Leonard at long last <g>)
