There have been some changes in the list configuration to eliminate the virus warnings, viruses, and other crud that was being sent to digest subscribers. Since then, I noticed one SP thanks that got bounced from lace-chat because the sender wasn't subscribed. There may have been others, but that's the only one that I happened to catch, among the hundreds of "non-member" bounces I get every day. I told Liz and she's done a new script so that lace subscribers can, once again, send SP thanks to the chat list without being subscribed. When you send your message to lace-chat, put "SP Thanks" in the Subject line. Note: you don't need to put the quotes in but you do need to capitalize SP and Thanks, with a space between. OK? I hope that's not too complicated. If this doesn't work (i.e., if people can't remember to use the space between the words and to capitalize them), then we'll have to think of something else.
