I've been talking to Beryl Maw this evening, and we decided that I need to clarify what she's taking to Prague. I hadn't really thought about the impracticality of taking a whole load of copies by plane to Prague and then bringing the unsold ones back - it would add just a bit to the weight of her luggage. What she's going to do is to take a few copies with her for people to have a look at, along with some of the actual lace. She'd like lacemakers who want a copy to order from her and pay her in Euros while in Prague (by that time she'll know the cost of postage to different countries), and when she gets home, she'll get them in the post.
She was delighted to have a phone call from an Arachnean in Chicago, and she's also heard from a couple of others as well. I can't check on who they were at the moment because our main computer's hard drive (which has all my emails stored on it) is deciding it's failing, so I'm making do with my laptop, and there's absolutely nothing Arachne related on it. Hope that it makes it clear what Beryl's doing, and sorry if I misled anyone because I didn't think about practicalities.
