I'm working on a Bruges flower pattern for a square pin cusion. I'm still new to sewings, and I sure need the practice! I'm sooooo grateful to Sondra (a guild member) who invited me to a class so she could teach me sewings. I have my magnifying glass and my teeny peeny latch hook. The right tool for the job made a huge difference!
I just learned needle tatting and have started a heart to wear as a pendant from the Needle Tatting Bookmarks book. It's actually the bottom part of a bookmark. I'm planning on using the same pattern for earrings but in a smaller thread than the pendant.
I'm also in the process of teaching myself to shuttle tat, and wondering if I'll ever "get it!" But, I bought a beautiful shuttle, so I HAVE to learn to use the shuttle to justify the $12 I paid for it. //LOL I can feel the shuttle collecting bug biting my rear! Sheesh!
