Hi everyone and mee-too, I have tried the Sedlice lace example that was in the recent OIDFA bulletin (which I've loaned out - and can't check , but I think the lace is named for the region of origin). I was trying to work it as a freehand lace - in finer thread than if I'd used the diagram/pricking itself - and thinking I wasn't really succeeding. When I took it off the bolster to toss it away, I noticed it was quite firm in the thread I'd used (YLI 40/3 quilt cotton) even though the lace bit looked wispy. I kept it :)
