I don't understand this measurement. Diameter is across a circle, from one edge straight to the opposite edge. Circumference is around the edge. I would think the elastic goes around the circumference of the snood. Or do you mean the diameter of the flattened-out "doily" instead of the distance straight across the hair when the snood is bulging away from the head? Robin P.
