Does anyone know what Simon Tousteou <sp> stuffs his pillows with? If he is going to
convention this year I hope someone will let him know that many of us are not arriving
for the first three days. My group will get there on Tuesday but can't hit the
salesrooms until Wednesday according to the literature, unless we pay another $7!!, so
I hope he will still be around. Also does he take checks or do I have to bring a wad
of cash? If he is still there I might be very tempted to treat myself to one of his
pillows.

I have a blue straw pillow I bought in Brugge from the Kantcentrum and use that
constantly. I did starch a few ornaments on it and it has stained the cover but the
straw was unaffected. At the moment it has a sample bookmark on it that I am doing to
experiment with color for my wool class with Gilian Dye. I have another straw antique
roller pillow I bought in Denmark but it is very dusty even after a good "hoover" so I
just use it for show. I have finally cleared off a Buckspoint hankie from my home
made block pillow (etherfoam center squares and builders foam sides) which I am going
to use for the wool workshop. I have about 3 etherfoam pillows, some from Snowgoose.
(I wonder if Peter will continue with the business since Betty has sadly died). A
couple of Dryad polystyrene pillows which I loan out occasionally. Two folding travel
pillows (one home made) and a small honiton pillow that has a base of styrene beads so
it forms to your lap. I think that is only 7 so mayb
 e its
time to get another good pilow. Forgot, I did make a 24" pillow stuffed with
excelsior following Tamara's direction, weighs a ton!! So it is 8, unless I have some
others lurking about. I store most of them in my sewing room, piled high against the
wall and covered with a large piece of fabric.

Jabots. Thank you Aurelia for the compliment regards my lace. I have only designed
one small Buckspoint edging so far so I would probably use another pattern of which I
have stacks as it is my most favorite lace for yardage.
