Oh Thanks all so much for your suggestions. I think I am going to go with the cookie pillow- it is stuffed with " sea grass" -and I think the 24" will keep me from losing my mind .It sounds like it would work well. I think, as a test I'll make a make pin cusion cover( please no one scream!) on my little pillow and work the bars to get some nice practice.I'll be sure to keep you all posted. I must mention that I have been using the wighook for sewings and it has cut my time in half at least. They are the best thing for Honiton- I am pretty good with the needlepin>>> but why make myself crazy- now my work is neater, faster, and I don't get discouraged and dig at my lace! Peter
