Hello Liz, Yes - I have it - it was another of those 'impulse buys' when I thought I'd spent all my cash, so started on the credit card - its the sort of thing that makes my husband a little pale around the edges. But bless him - he never chunters at the (frequent!) excesses.....
The book is lovely! But I don't think it is really aimed at those who want more complex and advanced designs - it is mainly Torchon, and I have to admit that I will probably use far finer thread than that recommended, and reduce the patterns accordingly, as I am more keen on fine lace than the coarser lace. I bought it at the last Lace Day I went to, so No - I haven't actually started anything from it yet, but I *am* trying to decide which of the patterns to photocopy, so that I can take it wil me to Wales, on the long summer sojourn - life is all decisions, isn't it. Having said all that, I would recommend it - apart from anything else, it is also lovely to look through, but the designs really are pretty.
