On the last page, usually are displayed little pictures as samples of work of different lacemakers. I am not quite sure if the price that appears besides every picture is for the pattern or for the finished work...
If you send me - privately - the prices, I ought to be able to tell you whether it's for the pattern or for the finished work. I bought both while in the Czech Republic, so have some idea. Another way to judge is to check out, on the same site:
http://www.cipka.sk/
the price of patterns (Vzorniky) and of finished works (by Jana) at the Predaj (sales) page; the difference is about 10 times...
Hope this gives an overall view of the magazine
Indeed it does; thanks! I looked at a couple of issues of Cipka (Jana had them in her room), and decided to pass (modern lace, in general, isn't my "cup o'T, unless it's me designing it <g>). Bought Jana's pattern of "window" instead - some interesting tricks and scrumptious colours... :) I have no clear recollection of the magazine, and couldn't have answered Helene's question... One bit of info I would like to add: Cipka is edited by Jana and her mother; most of the lacemakers featured there are her students.
