Hi Debbie
I was so interested to read your recollections of Tom Huetson. Though I've
made lace and collected old lace bobbins for well over 20 years I didn't
ever get the opportunity to hear him speak.
Following up on the thread I recalled as through it was yesterday the notice
in the Lace Guild magazine of his death but then the memory does, as they
say, plays funny tricks on one, after looking back through the newsletters I
find that it was 1988!! Sue Goodman wrote the obituary and does mention that
he was the speaker a the Whittlesey Lace Day.
Best wishes
Diana in a very hot Northamptonshire which the butterflies and dragonflies
seems to enjoy unfortunately so do a lot of other creepy crawlies!!
