Am lucky enough to have 2 copies of this booklet and have made a number of the Altar frontals in it. The Ave Maria cloth I have done twice. For those doing anything that size, I recommend photocopying the pattern several sizes larger and taping the sections together, then using a ruler and a highlighting texta to mark where you are up to. That way you can see where you have been as well as where you are going.
Taking the time to do a proper tension swatch is essential and blocking at the end of the process is worth the time it takes.
