Hi Susan - this isn't anything to do with crochet hooks, but I wondered

if
you had got a message I sent ages ago about a book I had read about the
life of Elizabeth I. I know there had been a long exchange about her
at
one time, and you had mentioned you were interested in her.

Malvary in Ottawa (sister of Jacquie)

i am sure this should go to lace chat, but since you might not look for
it there i answered it on lace.

i am still looking for a book about her. i found one in the local book
store, but its not the one i want. i am going to try to find a copy of
an out of print book that is in the libraries. i found two copies, one
in two different libraries, so i think it was a commonly known book. i
can get the name of the auther very easily from one of them. if you
give me the name of the book you mentioned, i'll look it up. there are
several out on the fiction book shelves where they put all of the
history into a joural type book. it reads like you are reading her own
journal, but i want a true life story of her life. it sounds great,
but you never know what other fiction they may have put in them. it is
sold as fiction, and i would take a good guess that it has some of the
history rearranged to make the book sell better.

thank you for the email.
