Same in Poland. What's called "Art Nuveau" in English, was known as "Young Poland Movement" at the time, though is now refered to as Art Nouveau. Very well represented in paintings, sculpture, literature, etc (though not much in architecture). Art Deco never took off much, so it has always ben called by its foreign name.
