I got the new catalogue from Batsford and the book was mentioned in at at a discount of 3 pounds.
However I did get my copy from SMP (just a satisfied customer) and it arried yesterday. If todays printers would have still used ink I would say that Batsford skimps on the amount of ink they used for printing. The print is very light (bright), I can't find the right word for it. It does strain the eyes a bit. The working diagrams are a bit small to follow. I don't know how they will be enlarged. I got already a few nice ideas of how to use the patterns. Otherwise it is a lovely book but just leafing through it isn't a book report.
