Nice job Dianna. I know another lacemaker/basket maker that might take your idea and run with it. She loves working in wire and she also makes beautiful baskets. I have always enjoyed looking at the pine needle baskets when they are demonstrating how to make them on tv but would have no idea where to find the needles around here.
