Here in UK we can get double sided satin ribbon that's only 1.5mm wide (made by Offray). I have used that as a gimp in torchon.
Me too. It makes a wonderful gimp. Narrow metallic ribbon makes a nice flashy gimp too. I've also threaded ribbon through torchon after it's been made and taken off the pillow. That's for beginners who think they can't learn to make lace around a gimp.
