I know what you mean about the "kit" but it was the first lace pillow I ever
had. My husband was a head teacher and I was talking in his staff room about
crafts. I said I had always fancied Lace. One of his classroom assistants said
she had the "stuff" in her attic. I paid 10 for a old Dryad kit which had a
flock pillow, plastic bobbins, plastic beads, rusty pins and a piece of half
worked lace which you will all know. A Circle with cloth stitch fans and
spiders. So simple but it fascinated me! I bought it and worked it backwards
to see
how it was done. The rest is history. I am Vivienne from Biggins :-) So even
rubbish kits can enthuse.
