I am very sorry to learn about the death of Inge Skovgaard who has done so much for lace. I have done translations for her when she was the OIDFA editor and I could notice the devotion she put in her work in the lace world. Yesterday, as I was doing a list of my lace books, I had a thought for her when I put my hands on one of her books and asked myself how her health was presently.
I want to offer my sympathy to her family who has been very generous in helping Inge in her lace activities and to all her lace friends.
