The lacemaker lamps sound like something for the Mythbusters! Mmm, I'd love to see those 2 blokes sit down with lacemaking tools of the trade and lacemaker lamps, and see what they could come up with.
(For those of you not au fait with the Mythbusters, they're 2 youngish blokes who have something like 30 odd years of experience between them in creating special effects for movies/tv, etc, and they set about busting or proving myths and urban legends. They use lots of science and ingenuity, applying principles in the most fascinating ways - and they're not afraid to share flaws in their theories or experiments, like the chicken gun experiment, when they shot frozen and thawed chooks through a light aircraft windshield to see which would shatter a windshield. The big Oops! was they used a windshield not rated for birdstrikes, so got false results. Tons of fun to watch.) Cheers, Helen, Aussie in Denver, where it's just gorgeous at 60 F, with blue skies, sunshine and melting snow. - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
