Thank you, Pat - that all makes sense now, and is about what I expected. I'm afraid I've become very cynical about sellers on eBay since a teenager of my acquaintance decided that his vocation in life is to be an eBay merchant, buying cheap and selling expensive. (This means he can sleep in his room all day, play internet games all night, and need only take the occasional walk to the post office in order to make his fortune - he thinks!)
