Curl to the left. I've been helping DS with his cursive (he's in 3rd grade, and started to learn cursive in 2nd), and the curl is to the left. In fact, come to think of it Tamara, I don't recall seeing any T's curl to the right. I think they mostly curl to the left. You could look at some calligraphy books, and they'll give you some ideas.
