Have recently upgraded the computer and then had problems accessing the internet, so only just getting round to reading some of the 300 odd emails.
Anyway regarding photographs of snowflakes. Dover have collected 72 of the best plates (850 photos, but not all snowflakes) and included them in one of their pictorial archive books - ie you can use up to 10 designs in graphic and crafts applications free and without any special permission.
The title is "Snowflakes in Photographs" by W. A. Bentley, ISBN 0-486-41253-9
