Hear, hear, Lorraine. I like to talk about my various fiber crafts as a source of comfort and connection to the work that women (and men) have turned to throughout history to create beauty, to honor their loved ones, to make a lasting contribution or to express creativity. This is a basic human impulse and the answer to those who tell you that you could never sell it for enough money. I just say "But it sure is beautiful!"
