Oh I know Russ deserves to retire. But golly, that was such a neat place.
First ran in toR&R when we were seeking weaving supplies. Then came the
lace. I will savor the memories of visiting the shop in the '80s. Such a
dependable and helpful dealer, at least in my experience

Subject: [lace] Robin and Russ - retired

Unhappy notice to all -- Robin & Russ Handweavers, as a lace supplier, is
no more. Russ is retiring this month and selling the business. The new
owners do not want to handle any lace business and all supplies are being
sold. Most of it was gone already when I was there last week.

The Oregon Country Lacemakers will be meeting there for the last time this
Saturday. We still don't know where we will be meeting henceforth.

Alice in Oregon -- where the rain is supposed to slack off until after
  Christmas.
