Hi All, Since Pauline encouraged e-mails I'll write a short one before going to start the dinner. For lacy content I received a tabletop Tensor lamp (high intensity but not heat making, I think it's "natural light" too). I borrowed DHs for the Point de Gaze class in Ithaca, NY and it worked wonderfully once I put it on top of the box I carry my NL supplies in. I may keep it by the computer when not lacing since that lamp broke a few years ago. It was a challenge to get DHs unplugged from the mass of wires behind his computer so that will not be a problem in the future!
Also got a book called something like "Detail in Fashion Around the World". Last year I got the one on modern fashion and this one is fabulous!! Some lace, mostly wonderful cutwork lace. It's all beautiful! I've only looked at it once so far so I'll report further at a later time. The clothes are all in the V&A. Now to go cook the red potatoes with rosemary, red onion, lemon and olive oil to go with beef tenderloin - yum! It's just DH and me and that's the way I like it <G>. Happy Holidays to all!
