Hello everyone, Malvary said: > Wouldn't it be nice to have access to those old issues which are no longer available by subscription.
I know that Malvary was referring to ILOI and Canadian Gazette but anyone can have the first 12 newsletters of the Lace Guild. They have been produced on CD. I bought it at Havant Lace Suppliers Fair and it only cost 5. As a matter of fact I had already managed to get my hand on some very early copies but the CD is very easy to access. On a different note - a very dear lace making friend passed away just before Christmas and I have been asked to dispose of her lace making equipment etc. There may be some Lace Guild and Lace Circle magazines coming up shortly. I'll let you know. It was her wish that all proceeds from her lace things should be donated to CAFOD. The time is very appropriate now. All our local shops, pubs etc seem to have collecting buckets for donations to the Tsunami Appeal. I hope that 2005 will bring peace and happiness to so many distressed people around the world.
