Geraldine Stott is not the only designer. In La Encajera No 14 (the handkerchief edition) there is a very pretty handkie designed by Bridget Cook and another one by Lia Baumeister-Jonker which are both really 'Floral' Torchon.
That the issue which had my hankie as one of 4 on the cover? If so, that might have been why I thought I'd seen slightly "floral-ish" Torchon coming out of Spain... Unfortunately, I no longer have the issue (though Carolina Gallego was kind enough to send me the photo of my own effort)...
I had *two* copies of the issue, which ought to have been more than enough for any one person... :) But I sent my second copy to my step-granddaughter (for whom the hankie edging was designed), and she lost both the issue and the hankie (moral: never gift hundreds of hours of work to a 10yr old <g>). My own copy went - in a bundle of several issue numbers - to someone from Arachne, who'd told me that most of her group was Spanish-speaking but unable to scramble up the money for a subscription, especially sight-unseen. So I sent off 6 or so, and don't even know if they'd reached who they were supposed to have reached, never having heard from them since (moral: steel your heart against sob-stories and remain in character - FM K9)...
